Day 11 - Rest Day at Dalmeny

Had a quiet morning at Richard Black's house. Laid out all the gear that had been soaked yesterday and did our washing.

Richard then took us down to Narooma for lunch at Michael's by the beach. Great fish and chips. The weather was sunny and Narooma looks beautiful.

After lunch Richard took us for drive around to Mystery Bay and then to Tilba. Mystery Bay would have been a perfect camping spot if we had needed to stop yesterday.

Tilba is a historic village with lots of handicrafts shops. Similar in some ways to Sassafrass in the Dandenongs. We were particularly impressed with the woodwork and photography.

In the evening Richard put on a BBQ and we listened to his extensive music collection and watched while he demonstrated the "anti-gravity" wine bottle. Very funny watching Richard trying to pour wine while not realising the lid was on and tipping the bottle more and more, wondering why the wine didn't come out. Richard was counselled for his inebriated state in a supportive manner. It was a lovely perfect evening with good company, good music and good wine. It was very late when we went to bed.
